DIRECTOR
Alister has been in practice since 1977. He is the senior partner of Argyle Welsh Finnigan Limited, which he founded in 1983 under the name of Argyle & Co. He was appointed a Notary Public by the Archbishop of Canterbury in 2013. In 2024 he was made a Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Notaries.
Alister has extensive experience in rural and commercial conveyancing, asset protection, succession planning and Trust and Estate work. He also specialises in relationship property law. Alister has practiced in Ashburton for most of his legal career and has not only developed a substantial clientele but has a wealth of knowledge of the Ashburton District, its needs and potential.
